Just want to say hi!!! Started listening to trance since 2001.
But during 2012-2015, I got so fed up with a lot of "big room" elements in the sound. It was hard to find rare gems.

Now, I feel like Trance is back to the glory days, with a lot of new productions that is sooo eargasmic!

Thanks for the warm welcome! Yes! My first few trance tracks I remembered clearly was Paul van Dyk's For An Angel and Another Way, first heard in 2001. But it wasn't until 2003 that I started to seriously pay attention to trance, thanks to Armin van Buuren and his radio show (discovered him from his remix of Seven Cities by Solar Stone)

I listened to Paul van Dyk's "Another Way" first time in the late 2005 i think...this was one of the most iconic tracks for me and still is! I listened to ASOT first time in the middle of 2006 i guess...this was my definite source for the latest Trance music. Sadly the good ole' days are long gone now...still there are plenty of awesome Trancers to be found of!
